Bro Sew: A Men’s Sewing Workshop Current!

Bro SewBro Sew: A Men’s Sewing Workshop
Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Register! Space is limited. ($40)

Gentlemen, it’s time to take charge of your wardrobe. This two-hour workshop will teach you basic sewing skills and stain-fighting, wardrobe-saving tricks. Spend less time and money at the cleaner’s and use your newfound hand-eye coordination to charm your social circle.

You’ll spend an hour at Stitch & Rivet, the workspace of Catherinette Leather Works, to learn basic sewing techniques from Katie Stack. (If you have a button that needs replacing, a seam that needs stitched, or a pant hem that needs rescuing, bring them along.) Then, you’ll walk about 20 feet down the Arts Walk to Analog, where Lisa Rowan will teach you how to care for your clothing and battle common challenges.

There will be snacks. You will enjoy them.
